What are some of the behaviors that may increase your chances of having bad vaginal smell ?By the end of this article you should be able to understand the most common behaviors that increase the chances of you picking a vaginal infection and thus bad vagina smell .There are many risk factors that can lead to you developing a bad vaginal smell .Some of them can be controlled while others can't.
However most of the risk factors that can lead to bad vaginal smell are controllable and if one exposes themselves to them then the chances of them developing bad vaginal smell increases drastically .This is due to the risk of infection involved .

Having multiple sex partners.
Having multiple sex partners can lead to increased risk to developing of bad vaginal smell and worst of all,contracting sexually transmitted diseases .
This is because different persons have different microorganisms that colonize their bodies .When you come in contact with a person with different strains of microorganisms during sexual contact ;there is a likelihood that the microorganisms may be spread to your vagina and create a destabilization of the current flora in your vagina .
As well some people may already be having various sexually transmitted diseases and they may transfer that to you .
As a result the first symptoms of infection will be bad vagina smell ,irritation etc .
Avoid use of antibiotics especially broad spectrum .
Antibiotics are usually categories into two categories ie
-Narrow spectrum ie they kill specific class of bacteria.The ones only kill either gram negative bacteria or gram positive bacteria or partially aerobic or anaerobic bacteria .They most often target a certain weakness of this category of this bacteria .A good example of narrow spectrum antibiotics is amoxicillin which is a beta lactam that targets the cell membrane .
Using antibiotics frequently increases risk of destroying the bacteria that exist as Normal flora that usually protect you .As well broad spectrum antibiotics are usually non selective ,so they can destroy even the good bacteria in your vagina .
That can in turn lead to you developing infections and bad smell .
In general use of antibiotics can lead to conditions that may result in you having bad vaginal odor/smell .
