How to buy Telkom airtime using mpesa.There are two methods of how to buy Telkom airtime using Mpesa.


Method 1

This method is facilitated by Pesapal.The charges involved are 22ksh only.

Go to the Mpesa Menu
Select Pay Bill
Enter Business No. 220220
Enter your Telkom Mobile number as the Account Number
Enter the Amount of airtime
Enter your Mpesa PIN then send
You will receive a confirmation SMS from Safaricom Mpesa confirming that the transaction has been approved .You will also receive an sms from pesapal confirming they have received payments.You will then receive an SMS from CHAPCHAP confirming that the Telkom airtime has been credited in your account.
This method is usually a bit slow and not appropriate if you have an airtime debt.


Method 2

This method is facilitated by iPay and they currently are offering a 100% free bonus. The transaction is completely free.
Go to the Mpesa Menu
Select Pay Bill
Enter Business No:- 510800
Enter Account No:- Airtel Mobile number, then press OK
Enter the Amount of airtime
Enter your Mpesa PIN then send



You will receive a confirmation SMS from Safaricom Mpesa confirming that the transaction has been approved. You will also receive an SMS from pesapal confirming they have received payments.You will then receive an SMS from CHAPCHAP confirming that the Telkom airtime has been credited in your account.
